Cronulla Sharks and CLIVEvideo continue to break new ground

The Cronulla Sharks continue to break new ground in the club's continued efforts to use innovative technology to connect with fans.

Three new videos of Sharks coach Ricky Stuart have been launched spreading the Sharks 2010 Membership message.

In an Australian sporting first the Sharks will be using CLIVE Videos (Customers Live Internet Video Experience) to engage with fans through the use of cutting edge green screen technology.

The Sharks in conjunction with CLIVE recently trialled the use of this technology in the Sharks Connect programme.

Statistics showed a definite correlation between CLIVE and a lift in Sharks Connect online registrations.

CLIVE click through rates are on average 20 times more effective than static web banners. For more information on how CLIVE works click here.

One of the suggestions from our initial Sharks Connect programme was the future use of high profile club assets such as players and coaches for upcoming videos to increase visitor engagement.

Sharks CEO Richard Fisk is of the belief this innovative technology is further heightening the Sharks continued efforts to connect with their fans.

"The introduction of a unique facility like CLIVE is another step forward for the Sharks as we endeavour to clearly highlight the importance of members to all at the club and the Rugby League community.

Its another initiative to highlight the determination of the Sharks to be a leader in all areas of the game."
