The Audition Process

What is CLIVE?
CLIVE is a highly effective video layer that adds life and personality to any website.
As part of the CLIVE Project we are looking for only the best presenters and unique talent to promote and showcase our clients web sites.
For both undiscovered and seasoned professional presenters, actors, performers and public speakers, CLIVE offers you a new unique opportunity to become a part of our Certified CLIVE Presenter Team and earn some extra exposure and earnings.

STANDARD AUDITION SCRIPT

- Note: Initially Sydney then interstate/ global through our studio partners.
STEP 2. Studio Audition
If shortlisted, we will invite you in for a 30 minute audition on one of a regular production days.
What we are looking for?
There are five key elements -
- Personality and talent - do you have an X factor?
- Voice/ Appearance - do you look and sound right?
- Auto-cue reading - can you read and deliver a script quickly which you may never have seen before?
- Direction - can you listen and take direction ?
- Professionalism - how you handle yourself on the day and with clients. Which markets/ clients can we position you?
Studio Audition requirements
- Professionally read and deliver our standard 30 second intro script from an auto cue
- Provide three costume changes according to our specifications.
- Corporate
- Semi Casual
- Casual
- NOTES: No Green and please provide several options for each.
Your audition will be reviewed by our management team and if you pass you will be invited to join our Presentation team.
STEP 3. The INVITATION.
If you pass your audition, well done, you will then be invited to join our CLIVE Professional Presenter team.
Your audition clip will be added to our Presenters page and a basic online profile created.
As a CLIVE Presenter you also receive benefits including special pricing on putting CLIVE your own website. For example Steve Carline and Greg Kennedy.
What happens next?
STEP 4. JOBS - How does it work? (rates, payment, terms and all that sort of thing)
- Clients have the option of either providing their own talent or using one (or more) of our Presenters.
- Clients are asked to shortlist 2-3 CLIVE Presenters.

- If you are shortlisted by the client we then contact you for your availability on the shoot day (usually the first Thursday of the month), your current performance rate (we do not set your rate but provide guidelines) and the client details (to avoid any potential conflicts of interest).
- We aim to have a minimum 14 - 28 day notice period before shoots to give everyone plenty of notice.
- Your performance rate - you provide your current rate based on:
- Standard rate per 30 second clip/ 1 hour studio time.
- *Web only - worldwide release - unlimited usage.
- Include GST, any agency rates or other expenses. You are responsible for paying any agency fees.
- *Note: Our software system does not facilitate talent loadings based on video views/ plays over a period (ie conventional mass media models).
- Note: Your performance rate is never publicly displayed.
- The client then selects which Presenter they wish to use and you will then be notified of a confirmed booking. In most cases we will try and make this a minimum 14 days.
- We will send you shoot details - confirmed times; wardrobe, client details; script (if available) etc.
- Shoot day - please turn up at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled call to the Production Manager.
- On shoot completion please invoice Max Media and Entertainment Pty Ltd as per your agreed rate. Please include your ABN and bank account details.
- Clips generally take three-seven days before going live on the web.
Note: We reserve the right to remove any Presenter from the service at any time without notice.
